22nd Anniversary CMJ Convention Showcase

On October 17th, 2013 Skateboard Marketing Ltd. celebrated their 22nd Anniversary. The radio promotion
company held it in style at their annual CMJ Convention Showcase at Webster Hall NYC in the Marlin Room.
This year Skateboard Marketing Ltd. & ReverbNation intended to do something larger that usual.
Doors were at 5:00 PM for the 6 artists that showcased this year. Negative Sky from New Jersey won the
ReverbNation/Skateboard Marketing unsigned artist spotlight contest. Both companies decided to look for
an artist to expose and showcase in front of industry. Also on the line-up was eOne Recording artist Fit
For An Autopsy, Lydia Can't Breath, Stolen Babies, New Years Day and Otep. We would like to send a
special thank you to Otep for helping make this happen.
The bar for the private pre party was sponsored by Budweiser, Monster Energy Drink & Jagermiester.
Jagermeister and Monster Energy Drink had their girls in the room handing out lots of merch and keeping
everyone happy. Special thanks go out to Heath Miller from Excess DB Entertainment, Lou Plaia From
ReverbNation and all at Monster Energy Drink, Budweiser and Jagermeister.
